What we collect, and what we don't.

What we collect

We collect two categories of data:

• Anonymised analytics. We use Plausible Analytics to count page views, see which pages are popular, and understand referral sources. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. The data is aggregated, not individually trackable.
• Newsletter subscriptions. When you subscribe, we collect your email address and the date you subscribed. We use Beehiiv to manage the newsletter and Beehiiv has its own privacy policy that governs what they store on our behalf.

What we don't collect

• We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other ad-tech tracking.
• We don't use cookies for advertising purposes.
• We don't sell, rent, share, or hand over your email address to anyone, for any reason.
• We don't track you across other websites.
• We don't build a profile of you for advertising or any other purpose.

Cookies

The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookies that may be set are functional ones related to the site working correctly (e.g. Cloudflare's anti-abuse cookies). We don't set advertising cookies, and we don't run a cookie consent banner because we don't have anything to seek consent for.

Your rights

If you're a newsletter subscriber, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email. Doing so removes your email from our list permanently.

If you'd like a copy of any data we hold about you, or you'd like us to delete it, email editorial@survivalandprepping.com and we'll handle the request within 30 days.

Children

The site is not intended for use by people under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone in that age group.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in any substantive way, we'll note the change at the top of this page and date it. The most recent review is shown above.
